ACTOR

As both actor & singer, Lini’s passion is giving life to lines & lyrics to move and engage audiences. Since being discovered by a talent agent while singing onstage she has acted steadily onscreen, trained in her craft and garnered more than 100 Film & TV credits.

Lini began in TV commercials as many actors do. A favorite booking made use of her multi-lingual skills filming five dialects for language-learning software. For years on U.S. commercial breaks, this blue-eyed blonde was seen bilingually exclaiming “Now I speak Mandarin!”

Advancing to Film & TV, Lini’s passions converged when her singing + acting + languages were all required for a particular role. Following a North American talent search, Amazon Studios had Lini write then perform her haunting Japanese version of the song “The End of the World” onscreen in Season One of acclaimed series “The Man In the High Castle”. This song will be included in Lini's upcoming music album.

FILMS / MOVIES

Lini is featured in dozens of films and movies. Late Canadian icon Alan Thicke portrayed her love interest (and ad-libbed plenty of witty lines) when they starred with Rachel Boston and Niall Matter in 2016’s Stop the Wedding. Alan was also a gifted songwriter and like Lini, pursued both screen and music careers.

She enjoyed reprising her role her role opposite Frances Fisher playing mom to Cindy Busby in Marrying Mr. Darcy; the sequel to fan favorite Unleashing Mr. Darcy, written by Teri Wilson and played by Ryan Paevey.

Some of Lini's other Lead roles include The Tree That Saved Christmas starring Lacey Chabert, which became a New York Times’ top holiday movie, as well as Love, Again with Teri Polo, Walking the Dog, and Falling for You for Hallmark Channel USA.

TELEVISION

Lini enjoys diverse roles in many exciting TV series. She’s featured in first season successes like E!’s The Arrangement and CW’s Arrow, and a recurring role on A&E's renowned Bates Motel as Mother. To Norman Bates’ love interest, that is ;)

Other notable roles were opposite beloved 'Winchester' brothers Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki on Supernatural and Jorge Garcia and Sam Neill in J.J. Abrams' TV series Alcatraz.

My favorite episodic work was a guest role on Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle when I wrote & performed The End of the World song in Japanese. Sugoi ne すごいね!

VOICE OVER

Big words taste good. In fact, that’s how Lini began doing Voiceovers - as one of few local actors able to reel off complex phrases and medical jargon such as keratoconjunctivitis sicca and cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion. Dry material indeed, but for Lini, languages and long words simply taste good.

There's also a hilarious Old Spice campaign with zillions of YouTube hits that Lini voiced. Other commercial and corporate works include beauty, dining, health and pharmaceutical products, as well as bilingually for Bell Canada.
